Daniel (Dan) Kaple Daniel Kaple assumed the role of principal at North Point High School in 2017, having previously been the school’s assistant principal for five years. Kaple joined Charles County Public Schools (CCPS) in 2002 as a social studies teacher at Thomas Stone High School, later moving to Henry E. Lackey High School. Throughout his teaching career, he taught Local, State and National Government, Advanced Placement (AP) U.S. history, African history, African American history and film study. In addition to his teaching duties, Kaple also coached junior varsity and varsity football. Kaple hails from Fairborn, Ohio, a suburb of Dayton. Both of his parents enjoyed lengthy careers in education. He graduated from Fairborn High School in 1997 and holds a bachelor's in history and integrated social studies education from Ohio University in Athens, Ohio. He furthered his education with a master's degree in curriculum and instruction from McDaniel University in Westminster. |
